Un año más, y van cinco, el Encuentro Cultura y Deporte sirvió de brillante colofón al trabajo desarrollado con brillantez y grandes resultados por las Escuelas, Talleres y Asociaciones, pero que además sirve para reconocer cada año a las personas que más han aportado al mundo de la Cultura y el Deporte de nuestro municipio.
Como es ya habitual, el acto fue retransmitido en directo por Radio Foramontanos FM y conducido por Nacho Barquín y Juanjo Herrera.
Se entregaron un total de 61 premios y distinciones (19 en Cultura y 42 en Deporte), si bien se entregó un pequeño regalo a todos las persons homenajeadas.
En especial se reconoció a través del Premio «Antonino Pellón» por su contribución a la cultura a Alodia Gómez, primera directora del Coro Vírgen del Campo y en el mundo del Deporte a Ciriaco García «Yaco» por su trabajo y difusión en el mundo del deporte vernáculo de los bolos.
La actuación de la Coral “Vírgen del Campo” añadió la componente sentimental al dedicarle su actuación a la homenajeada con canciones especialmente dedicados a ella.
